Jammu, June 11: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar inaugurated a National Conference organized by the Textiles Committee under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, aimed at strengthening data collection, project implementation, and capacity building in the textile sector.
Dr. Tapan Kumar Rout, Director, Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, said that around 85 liaison officers from the northern zone are participating in the training programme.
He stated that the initiative has been organized to enhance the officers' skills in data collection and programme implementation, ensuring that government schemes and projects are executed effectively and benefit all stakeholders.
