Court send Flourish Stay B&B owner under 12-day judicial custody after a major fire in building killed 22 people

New Delhi, June 10: Delhi court sent Flourish Stay B&B owner Lavkesh Bajaj and accountant Jay Mishra under 12-day judicial custody after a major fire in the building killed 22 people on June 3.

The accused persons were brought to the Saket Court by the Delhi police after their police custody ended today. While Lavkesh Bajaj, who was nabbed first in the case, has been in the police custody for a total of 4 days, Mishra, who was arrested on Sunday by the police, was in the police custody for a 2-day period.

The police have submitted that it needed to interrogate the duo jointly and had sought a two-day custody of Mishra, along with an additional two-day custody of owner Lavkesh Bajaj. The same was granted by the Court.
