New Delhi, May 25: Government of India has notified the LPG (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Amendment Order, 2026, aimed at providing greater flexibility and convenience to domestic
LPG consumers who also obtain PNG connections. Consumers now have the option to either terminate their LPG connection within 30 days of getting a PNG connection or opt for a transfer voucher for future restoration of LPG service in non-PNG areas.
The move offers significant relief, especially for transferable employees, migrant families, tenants, and students shifting between PNG and non-PNG regions, ensuring smoother access to clean cooking fuel. Details with CTN read as under:-
