SRINAGAR, May 14: Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has annulled the unauthorized transfers and deployments of Senior Assistants carried out by various Chief Education Officers (CEOs) across Kashmir without approval from the competent authority.
According to an official circular issued by the Director School Education Kashmir, it was observed that several Senior Assistants had been shifted and deployed to different institutions and offices in violation of established norms and without obtaining prior sanction from the competent authority.
Taking serious note of the matter, the DSEK directed all CEOs to refrain from issuing such transfer or deployment orders in future without proper authorization. The department further instructed all Senior Assistants who were transferred or deployed unlawfully to immediately report back to their original places of posting.
The circular also directed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) not to release salaries of such officials until they resume duties at their parent offices. Warning strict action against violators, the DSEK said any deviation from the instructions would invite disciplinary proceedings against the concerned officers and officials.
