Jammu, May 13: The Directorate of Economics & Statistics is in the process of conducting a meeting of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for promotion of eligible Statistical Assistants as Statistical Officers of J&K Economics & Statistics (Subordinate) Service.
Moreover, the category candidates (falling in the consideration zone) whose certificates are not valid are also instructed to submit their updated/ revised category certificates within the stipulated time period for their consideration during promotion in terms of reservation rules which otherwise will be treated under general category.
It is, therefore, enjoined upon Drawing & Disbursing Officers/ Controlling Officers to submit the above requisite documents of Statistical Assistants of the J&K Economics & Statistics (Subordinate) Service (as per the list enclosed) working under their administrative control, within 21 days from the date of issuance of this Circular, failing which the concerned officials may lose an opportunity for their promotion in absence of requisite documents.
