Ganderbal, May 12:In a strong message against drug abuse and in support of a healthier society, Voice for Peace and Justice in collaboration with J&K Youth Development Forum successfully organized a mega cycle race event titled “Pedal for Drug-Free J&K.”
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of energetic young boys and girls who united with a common purpose — promoting a drug-free society and spreading awareness among the youth. The roads were filled with energy, discipline, and hope as participants cycled together to support the campaign against drug abuse.
Chairman of Voice for Peace and Justice, Farooq Ganderbali, and President of J&K Youth Development Forum (JKYDF), Shehreyar Majeed, appreciated the overwhelming response from the youth and highlighted the importance of community participation in eliminating the menace of drugs from society.
The organizers extended special thanks to the district administration, especially the police department, for their valuable support, cooperation, and arrangements that ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
Champion winners of the race were proudly honored with bicycles as a token of encouragement and appreciation for their dedication and performance.
The event concluded with a collective pledge by participants and organizers to continue working towards a healthier, safer, and drug-free Jammu & Kashmir.
