Jammu, May 07: VC, JDA, Rupesh Kumar is trying to streamline the system but still some blacksheeps in JDA, who for their vested considerations making the system as a failure.
It has come to understand that Rupesh is personally monitoring the Building Permission cases along with NOCs to be issued by Revenue & Collector Officer of JDA & other public issues on day to day basis, so that public may not suffer for their routine works.
While speaking to Rajesh Gupta, Managing Editor, Cross Town News, Rupesh said that time & again he had appealed general public to come forward for their legal building permission cases, so that they may not face any adverse actions for violations & they can approach him at any time for their grievances.
He even clarified that if any official of JDA ask them to pay bribe for their genuine works, they can inform him following which tough actions will follow.
Now it is a big question as also raised by Honourable MLAs of BJP CP Ganga , Surinder Kumar , Rajeev Kumar and Garu Ram on the concerned Tehsildar being Chief Khilaf Warzi Officer that how such a huge number of illegal constructions are being in operation in her jurisdiction & following days nuisance being created against JDA by various kind of charge but otherwise jurisdiction of other Tehsildar is in silence, raised pointer towards working of said Tehsildar with powers of CKO & needed to be looked into by reviewing status of illegal constructions in said jurisdiction?
However, today following a complaint by MLAs & public on a Patwari for charging huge bribe money in liu of permitting constructions without building permission, VC by acting tough ordered for attachment of said Patwari with immediate effect in the Office.
It should be a lesson for other corrupt official of JDA to set right their working otherwise they may also face tough actions by VC JDA , insiders said.
However, tough actions against concerned KWI & KWO, cannot be ruled out , as otherwise such huge structure could not have been raised in days.
