J&K: DSE issued guidelines for change/ modification in name by School Education Employees

SRINAGAR, May 06: DSEK issued guidelines for change/ Modification in name  by Govt Employees, Procedure thereof. Details with CTN read as under:-

A huge inflow of cases pertaining to change/correction/effect any type of modification in existing name in the service records (Engagement/ regularization/ Appointment Order/ Service Book) is being received in this Directorate, however, such cases are not accompanied by the requisite documents, resulting in undue delay in disposal of such cases and cause wastage of precious resources of this Directorate.

Attention of all Chief Education Officers of Kashmir Division is invited to Clause 1 of Finance Department's Circular No. FD-Code/ 154/2022-03 Dated 10.05.2023 governing the subject matter, whereunder detailed instructions for processing such cases have been regulated.

A copy of the circular instructions is again endorsed to all the Chief Education Officers with the request to forward cases of change/correction/ effect any type of modification in existing name in the service records (Engagement/ Regularization/ Appointment Order/ Service Book) strictly in accordance with the procedure prescribed therein, alongwith the requisite supporting documents.

Additionally, cases which involve correction/alteration in the particulars recorded in the basic engagement/regularization/appointment order require further documentary evidence in the form of "One and the same person certificate" to be issued by the concerned competent Revenue Authority (Tehsildar concerned).
