Candidates should face no difficulty during security checks & frisking at examination centres: ADC Ansuya Jamwal

JAMMU, APRIL 28: Additional District Magistrate Jammu Ansuya Jamwal today chaired a meeting to review the preparedness of the district administration for smooth and fair conduct of the NEET.

The meeting was informed that a total of 27 examination centres have been designated across Jammu district for the purpose, comprising premier institutions including IIT Jammu, IIM Jammu, SKUAST, University of Jammu and Kendriya Vidyalayas, besides other schools and colleges of the district.

The ADM conducted a detailed review of the arrangements and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers. She gave specific directions regarding the role of banks in examination-related processes, duties and responsibilities of Centre Superintendents, deployment of Security and Traffic Police and the overall logistics plan for the day of the examination.

The ADM accorded special attention to the welfare and convenience of the students appearing in the examination. She emphasised that candidates should face no difficulty or hassle during security checks and frisking at the examination centres.

The concerned officers were directed to ensure that the process is conducted smoothly and without causing any inconvenience to the examinees.

The meeting was attended by SDM Jammu North Dr Deepak Kumar; AC Nazool Vinay Kumar; officers from the Police Department; Centre Superintendents of the designated examination centres, besides other officers concerned.
