Lucknow, April 18: The Allahabad High Court made the Basti SP stand for four hours over police negligence in a murder case. The court reprimanded, saying that the person who is in charge of the district should be vigilant about the information given by his inspector or constable.
After this, the SP apologized to the court. The court said that a lenient view is being taken on the SP's apology. Instead of passing any order against him, he is directed to remain present in the court until the court rises. So that in the future, while filing affidavits before the High Court or any court, he exercises more caution.
