Jammu, Apr 17: The J&K Government ordered the placement of Assistant Executive Engineer Smt. Nayeema Firdous as Incharge Executive Engineer in the Jal Shakti Department as a temporary stop-gap arrangement.
As per Government Order No. 69-JK(JSD) of 2026 dated April 17 copy with CTN reads that "Sanction has been accorded to her placement as Executive Engineer on an incharge basis to address administrative requirements". The order states that the arrangement is purely temporary and aimed at meeting administrative exigencies, and shall not confer any preferential right on the officer to claim regular promotion to the post.
Consequent upon the placement, Smt. Nayeema Firdous has been posted as Incharge Executive Engineer in the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation and has been directed to assume charge of her new assignment forthwith.
