New Delhi, Apr 15: Ministry of Home Affairs announced field operations for the House listing and Housing Census (HLO), the first phase of Census 2027, will commence across multiple States and Union Territories today.
The exercise will be conducted across multiple States and Union Territories, including Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Goa, Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Mizoram, Odisha and Sikkim, along with NDMC and Delhi Cantonment Board areas in the national capital.
Over the next 30 days, trained enumerators will carry out house-to-house visits to collect data, marking a key step in the Census process. Details with CTN read as under:-
