Kolkata, Apr 12: ED conducted fresh searches against former West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee and others in connection with a money laundering probe linked to the alleged teachers’ recruitment scam.
Searches were carried out at two premises in Kolkata related to the SSC recruitment scam case, including the residence of Partha Chatterjee and the office of Prasanna Kumar Roy, who is currently in judicial custody.
The agency said Partha Chatterjee had been issued three summons to appear before the Investigating Officer but did not respond to any of them. More reports awaited.
