SAMBA, APRIL 11:District Development Commissioner, Samba Ayushi Sudan today reviewed the implementation & progress of Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) & Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project in Jammu & Kashmir (JKCIP), here at a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) meeting held in the meeting Hall of the DC office complex.
The Deputy Commissioner assessed the status of major projects under HADP & JKCIP and reviewed the online proposals posted by farmers, seeking assistance under agriculture and allied sector components of the twin schemes.
As many as 208 project proposals were approved under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and 152 under JKCIP. Emphasis was laid on scaling up the coverage of allied sector schemes, particularly Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry & Horticulture and output tracking through digital monitoring mechanisms to ensure transparency and real-time assessment of outcomes.
The stakeholder departments were instructed to expedite completion of Daksh Kissan training and certification, besides laying focus on timely establishment and tracking of units under.
The meeting was attended by General Manager DIC, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Assistant Director Fisheries Samba, DDM NABARD, District Officer HPM Samba, District Sericulture officer Samba, Lead District Manager Samba and other officers of the departments.
