New Delhi, April 02: The Election Commission, on Thursday, transferred DGP G Venkatraman and appointed Sandeep Rai Rathore as the new DGP.
The ECI also transferred the Collectors of the Thoothukudi and Salem districts. Arun Thamburaj and Vishu Mahajan have been appointed as the new Collectors of Salem and Thoothukudi districts.
Besides, Sanjay Kumar, IPS, and Abhishek Dixit have been posted as Commissioner of Police, Tambaram and Madurai respectively. RV Ramya Bharti has been appointed as the IGP, West Zone. Details with CTN read as under:
