RAMBAN, MARCH 25: On the third day of Vande Mataram Week, the District Administration Ramban, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, organized a series of events across the district to pay rich tributes to the national heroes Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the nation.
The Deputy Commissioner presided over a Vande Mataram event at Government Model Higher Secondary School Ramban.
As part of the campaign, a district-wide Vande Mataram Signature Campaign was conducted in schools, colleges, government offices, and other institutions. Special Signature Walls were set up to encourage participation and foster a spirit of patriotism and collective remembrance.
Officers, teachers, staff members, and students enthusiastically participated by signing the walls as a mark of respect and gratitude towards the martyrs. Participants also took selfies with their signatures under the Vande Mataram 150 celebrations, capturing their involvement in the nationwide initiative.
Photographs and videos of the activities were uploaded on the designated portal, ensuring wider outreach and proper digital documentation of the campaign.
The initiative witnessed overwhelming participation, reflecting strong patriotic fervor and unity among the people of Ramban. The District Administration reiterated its commitment to organizing such meaningful activities to instill values of patriotism, respect for national heroes, and awareness about the country’s rich historical legacy among the younger generation.
