NC hit out at BJP minister for re-inaugurating old project in J&K

Kishtwar, Nov 22:Former Minister of State for Home in National Conference & Congress government and MLC from Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today launched a scathing attack on Minister of State for Revenue, R&B Sunil Kumar Sharma for re-inaugurating Cherji road which was inaugurated by him in 2013, added that BJP Minister not only tried to hoodwinked the people of Kishtwar by showing hypothetical dream of development to the people of Kishtwar District while at the same time party tried to take the credit of projects started by the previous government.

In a press statement issued today by NC MLC Sajjad Ahmed said that it was not only the people of Kishtwar District who are feed up with the hollow slogans of PDP-BJP government, but there is unrest among the people of whole state after the present government assume office in March this year, particularly the employees and poor class people who are facing the burden of price hike.
"The reality is that Cherji road project was approved for Rs. 4.50 cr in 2012 and its tender was allotted in 2013 and in same year I laid its foundation stone and Cherji Bridge is the part of the project constructed by CVPP under joint venture" said Kichloo. He said that it is very unfortunate that BJP Minister today tried to take the credit of the project while in actual the new government fails to start any new project in Chenab valley.

He said that it was due to his efforts, the Cherji bridge was completed in four years, added that the words of BJP minister that "Previous governments did nothing in last 40 years" are shameful as BJP minister forget the bridge inaugurated by him today exists due to his and previous government efforts. He said that people of Kishtwar are wise enough to understand the BJP's anti people polices and said that every time people cannot be be-fooled by luring them through communal and divisive politics as was proved by the people of Bihar in recently held elections. He remind minister about his promise made by him during elections as well as after assuming his office which includes, Chenger-Bonda tunnel, 560 Cr Saffron Park, Degree College for Padder, Multipurpose Naigard tunnel, BSNL VHF towers, Sangpora-Viloo tunnel and widening of main road.

He also slammed the minister for playing politics over distribution of Solar Lights, added that 18000 Solar lights was sanctioned for Kishtwar constituency by previous UPA government for which he paid the beneficiary share out of his CDF. He said that demanding Rs. 800 from beneficiaries is cruel joke with the poor people and said that it was due to uncalled interference of the BJP leadership, the Solar Lights are gathering dust in stores threatening their stability.

Kichloo also extended its open support to the students protesting against the ban of private tuition.
"It is a harsh decision taken by BJP-PDP government effecting our teens--- it need to be revoked immediately" said Kichloo, added that Kishtwar District is educationally backward District and educational institutions lacks facilities that warranted continuation of private coaching system which gives a little bit chance to our students to compete at state and national level examinations.
