Ample job opportunities soon for J&K youth: Ganga

 

SAMBA, Nov 22:Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga today conducted tour of Bari Brahmana and kick-started various development works.Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma accompanied the Minister during the tour.Ganga launched construction of drain at Dhiansar and on Palli-Khairi road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.25 lakh. He also kick-started work of premixing on Palli Chack-Avtara road to be completed at a cost of Rs 7 lakh and metalling on Palli road at a cost of Rs 1.30 lakh.

 

 

            

Ganga while addressing the people said that efforts are being made to ensure that roads, power and drinking water reaches the public every nook and corner of the State.The Minister also assured the people about the commitment of the Government to provide job opportunities to the unemployed youth of the area by way of developing industrial sector in the state. “Road connectivity in the area is getting better by way of upgradation and widening of existing roads”, he added.

            

Ganga said that it is endeavor of the government to ensure basic facilities to the people. He appealed the people to cooperate with the executing agencies for timely completion of works. He said with tireless efforts of the coalition government massive development has taken place in various sectors like R&B, health, education, PHE, Power and Social Welfare during the past few months. He said the State government stands committed to provide all basic amenities to the people of the State at their doorsteps.

 

 

            

Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma while speaking on the occasion said the agenda of the government is development. “Several projects have been initiated and many more are in pipeline for the betterment of the quality of people’s lives”, he added.Mr. Sharma appealed people to avail the benefits of various welfare schemes launched by the Centre and State Governments. He announced Rs 5 lakh from his MPLAD fund for various development works in the area.
