Srinagar, March 16: CM Omar Abdullah today chaired a meeting to review the availability and stock position of essential commodities in Jammu & Kashmir and took stock of the arrangements for the upcoming festivals of Eid and Navratra.
The meeting reviewed supplies of LPG, petrol, diesel stock levels at depots and distribution points, and measures to monitor availability and prevent hoarding and black marketing.
The Chief Minister also appealed to the public to avoid panic buying and rely only on official information regarding availability of essential commodities.
