UDHAMPUR, MARCH 12: Member Legislative Assembly Chenani Balwant Singh Mankotia today held a public outreach camp at Sudhmahadev, where a large number of people from nearby villages participated and putforth their grievances.
The local people projected several issues related to drinking water supply, road connectivity, power supply, school facilities, hospital facilities and other local issues. Residents also highlighted difficulties being faced due to matters related to the Patnitop Development Authority. The MLA gave a patient hearing to the public issues in the presence of the officers of stakeholder departments. He directed the officials to take immediate action and ensure that the genuine issues of the people are resolved at the earliest.
Several issues were addressed and resolved on the spot, while instructions were issued to the concerned departments for prompt follow-up action.
The MLA also announced Rs 10 lakh from the Constituency Development Fund for various development works in the Sudhmahadev area to further strengthen local infrastructure and public facilities.
