Jammu, Mar 11: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo has directed departments to ensure there is no delay in granting promotions to Kashmiri Pandit employees appointed under the prime minister’s relief package, stressing that eligible employees must receive their benefits.
He also directed Deputy Commissioners to ensure proper and timely disposal of complaints registered by Kashmiri Pandits on the dedicated portal regarding their immovable properties and assets left behind in the valley.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary took a comprehensive review of the range of measures undertaken by the government from time to time for the rehabilitation of different migrant categories, including Kashmiri Pandits, West Pakistani Refugees and displaced persons who migrated from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
