During the drive, several food business establishments, including shops dealing with essential commodities, food items and other consumables, were thoroughly inspected.

The checking teams focused on ensuring proper display of rate lists, maintenance of quality standards of food items, and adherence to hygienic conditions within the establishments. Shopkeepers and Vendors were strictly directed to comply with government regulations, maintain transparency in pricing, avoid overcharging, and ensure proper sanitation and hygiene while handling food products.

They were also advised to keep their premises clean and provide quality goods to the public, especially during the holy month when market activity increases significantly.
