SRINAGAR, Feb 22: An Army officer, a resident of Bakar Abad in Uttar Pradesh lost his life after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest while performing duty in the Narayan area of Handwara on Sunday.
He was immediately evacuated and administered first aid before being airlifted to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar for advanced medical care.
However, Doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.
