Jammu, Feb 17:High Court asked ACS Jal Shakti to be present before Court to apprise latest status of case in CP of 2012
The Order copy reads “
In CPSW No. 288/2012 in SWP No. 1095/2012 titled Balbir Singh & Ors. Vs B. R. Sharma, Comm. PHE Deptt. & Ors. after hearingHON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY DHAR, JUDGE ORDERED as under:-
01. On the last date of hearing, the respondents were directed to furnish the status with regard to the progress of the proposal for regularization of the petitioners.
02. As per the fresh status report filed by the respondents, the matter is still pending before the Finance Department.
03. In view of the above, in order to seek full and complete compliance of the judgment of the writ court, the Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Finance Department is hereby impleaded as respondent/contemnor to the present proceedings and a direction is issued to the said Officer along with Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Jal Shakti Department to remain present before this Court either through virtual mode or in physical mode and to apprise this Court of the latest status relating to the implementation of the judgment passed by the writ court.
04. Be listed on 04.03.2026.
05. A copy of this order be sent to the afore-named two Officers through their counsel for notice.”
