Jammu, Feb 16: No doubts, it is a settled law that tendering process be simplified for early execution & completion of works by various Engineering Departments but there are some officers, who preferred to delay the process by extensions of floated Tenders, on the submissions of some Contractors, who after sleeping for long, one fine morning woke up that too in the fag end of the year with a proposal of their choice?
Now, it has to be looked into that whether the undesired communication of the officer has implemented on ground & if so, how many Tenders has been extended causing undesired delay in public works on the behest of some contractors & responsibility be fixed?
