Jammu, Feb 14: Once upon a time in first week of October, 2023, then Chief secretary, Arun Mehta, while speaking in event held in north Kashmir’s Kupwara said that there are around 2.5 Lakh Backdoor Recruitment in J&K by past regimes in the Union Territory of J&K & he sought details in his meetings along with Commissioner/Secretary but till day the status of said declared "2.5 Lakh Backdoor Recruitments" has not made public, so that public should know the names of culprit officers, who made such a big number of 2.5 Lakh Backdoor Recruitments?
So, it is the need of the day the Govt headed by CM, Omar Abdullah should conduct high level enquiry to detect the scam as per the statement of then Chief Secretary, Arun Mehta in his CoS meetings.
It is to inform that even, then CS, J&K Dr Arun Mehta issued countless instructions to Administrative Secretaries over various issues & thereafter in high level meeting of Commissioner/Secretaries, in September, 2023, CS expressed his displeasure for the departments, which are yet to furnish information regarding backdoor appointments and other issues as per the directions issued in previous CoS meetings.
