Jammu, Feb 13: In Case No. LPA No. 176/2024 in OWP No. 606/2004 CM No. 4987/2024 titled Pritam Singh and others vs Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Jammu and others .…. after hearing bench of HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJNESH OSWAL, JUDGE ORDERED as under:-
1. On February 05, 2026, this Court had passed the following order: “Despite repeated orders, the necessary records in terms of order dated July 24, 2025, has not been produced. In the interest of justice, adjourned to February 12, 2026. It is made clear, that if the order referred to above, is not complied with, the Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), UT of J&K, Jammu, shall remain present in Court.
Interim direction dated August 28, 2024, to continue till the adjourned date”
2. Concededly, the relevant records are not produced. However, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), UT of J&K, Jammu, in compliance to order referred above, is present in Court.
He submits that despite all possible efforts, the records are not traceable.
Accordingly, he prays for yet another opportunity to locate or reconstruct the records.
3. Adjourned to 05.03.2026.
4. Meanwhile, Office to requisition the entire records from the Court of Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Jammu.
