JAMMU, Feb 14: Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued strict directions to all departments to ensure that appeals, writ petitions, LPAs and SLPs are filed within the prescribed limitation period, observing that many cases were being referred to the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs after expiry of the statutory timeline, leading to delayed filings, poorly drafted condonation applications and even dismissal of cases on limitation grounds.
