JAMMU, Feb 08: BJP MLAs from Jasrota and Udhampur East Rajiv Jasrotia, RS Pathania roared in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly over Selective CLU/delineation of Gair Mumkin Khad lands to benefit only Affluent in crores
BJP MLA from Jasrota and former Jammu and Kashmir Minister Rajiv Jasrotia and two times MLA RS Pathania alleged corruption in Change of Land Use (CLU) by the poor people saying they have to take No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from 18 departments and demanded exemption.
Raising a supplementary, Rajiv Jasrotia alleged misuse of CLU saying title of 500 to 700 kanals of land was changed at Maksudpur in Kathua district for the purpose of industrial use.
MLA Jasrotia alleged that “ 500 kanals of land was purchased at the rate of Rs 3 lakh a kanal and after change of land use was sold for Rs 12 lakh per kanal. A very senior officer is involved in this.
Jasrotia said there are small cases of Lands waiting for delineation at han ds of Authoritries even after Administrative Council Orders.
MLA RS Pathania said frauds being committed under garb of CLU and have to be checked and we need to admit it as a scandal.
