Keshav Chopra Organizes 102nd Free Health and Eye Screening Camp


JAMMU, Feb 08: Continuing its mission to provide accessible healthcare to the underprivileged, the Samvedna Society organizes its 102nd Free Eye Screening and General Health Check-up Camp today at Shree Guru Kabeer Colony Talab Tillo.

The initiative, led by Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra, successfully helped in providing Medical Consultations, Free Treatment including Free Medicines to more than 109 patients from the local community and surrounding areas.The camp was organized in Collaboration with K.D Multispeciality Hospital Jammu headed by Dr J.P Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Keshav Chopra reaffirmed the society's commitment to bridging the gap in healthcare accessibility.

"Our goal has always been to ensure that no individual is deprived of basic medical facilities due to financial constraints," Chopra stated. "Reaching the milestone of our 102nd camp is a testament to the dedication of our volunteers and the trust of the public. We believe that regular screenings are the first step toward a healthier society, and we will continue to organize such programs across the region to serve those in need." Neelam Nargotra, while interacting with the beneficiaries, emphasized the importance of community-led health initiatives.

"It is heartening to see the Samvedna Society consistently working at the grassroots level. Many residents, especially the elderly, often neglect their eye health and general well-being. By bringing expert doctors and free medicines directly to their doorstep, Keshav Chopra and his team are performing a commendable service to humanity. Such camps are vital for early diagnosis and preventing long-term health complications," she remarked. During the day-long camp, a team of specialized doctors conducted thorough eye examinations and general health assessments. Patients were provided with free medicines and directed toward further specialized treatment where necessary.

The local residents expressed their gratitude to the Samvedna Society for the seamless organization and the professional care provided by the medical team. Dr Upasana Raj, Ankur, Tanisha, Bharti, Gurmeet Kalsi, Ashok, Tasveer, Ex-Councillor Chaman Lal Bhagat Ex-Sarpanch Raj Kumar, Arun Dubey, Rahul Nargotra, Geeta Sodhi, Abhishek Sharma, Jatinder Khajuria, Deepak Kumar, Raj Kumar (Raji), Vikas Kumar, and several other prominent citizens who lauded the society’s consistent efforts in humanitarian service.
