One more senior IAS Officer resign from Govt services for not getting NOC for Central Deputation

Lucknow, Feb 03: The Uttar Pradesh government accepted the voluntary retirement of 2004-batch IAS officer Anamika Singh.

She had submitted her application for voluntary retirement in the first week of December 2025, citing personal reasons.

At the time of her exit, Singh was serving as Commissioner, Food and Civil Supplies.

In recent years, officers such as Rajiv Agarwal, Aamod Kumar, Renuka Kumar, Juithika Patankar, Vikas Gothalwal, Vidya Bhushan, Regin Samphil, Rakesh Verma and Ravindra Pal Singh have also taken the VRS route.

It has been said that Singh was keen on proceeding on central deputation but was reportedly disappointed after she did not receive the required no-objection certificate from the state government.
