Jammu, Jan 13: There are countless questions on the working of Jammu Dev Authority as a whole.
There are also cases searching for applicant for NOC on BP case despite longitude/Latitude mentioned on BP Application & thereafter refusal of NOC by quoting applicant not available.
Theses failures are increasing day by day because there is no system in personal section of VC JDA to act on concerned officers for not reporting issues marked by VCz
"MISSING OF FILES", for which case stands registered & Govt constituted a committee to conduct regular meetings for reconstructions of files.
Above all, one more illegal act is that Naib Tehsildar/ Girdawars /Patwaris have been assigned additional charge for the posts of Khilaf Warzi Inspectors in violation of Recruitment Rules for the said post.
However, working of JDA can be observed that after issue came up on Social Media over illegal construction, JDA acted & so called KWI stopped the work, where 50% slab was laid but in late hours concerned laid the complete slab & thereafter as issue was in public, Notice was issued by JDA following which applicant reached J&K Special Tribunal for relief.
But, need of the day is to act on such KWIs that how buildings raised upto higher level as cannot raise in a day or week & where they were, why not checked.
But, as the issue of construction was on "Social Media" JDA issued Notice on 22.12.2025, case was filed on 24.12.2025, heard on 26.12.2025, reserved & Pronounced on 29.12.2025 & appeal was dismissed with cost of Rs 50,000/- was imposed upon applicant,a remarakable order of J&K Special Tribunal to teach a lesson to concerned , who prefer illegal constructions.
However in one appreciable step, JDA appeared in J&K Special Tribunal in said case, so why applicant could not got relief, & also matter of enquiry to verify each & every notice issued by JDA & status of appearance of JDA in such cases in first date like as done in said case & if such act would have been done previously, illegal encroachments & their immediate stays due to non appearance of JDA Side & such like illegal construction could have stopped?
