Srinagar, Jan 11: It is a question on Health Department for not fixing various operation charges & other related in Private Nursing homes along with other related tests, which is mandatory as per the Act.
Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo said uniform rates and standardization of diagnostic centres are among the government’s priorities & added that “Rates need to be uniform, diagnostic centres need to be standardised, and both are our focus points” .
The Minister said that three meetings have been convened over the past year to address the matter and that all stakeholders are being taken on board. A rate list that is patient-friendly and supportive of diagnostic centres will be issued soon.
However , need to be seen , how committees renew license of Pvt Nursing Homes & Hospitals without verifying the terms & conditions like parking, display of rates etc.
