Jammu, Dec 29: Baseer ul Haq Chaudhary, MD NHM J&K, conducts a surprise visit to Bishnah Block of Jammu District to monitor TB patients and their follow-up under the TB Mukt Abhiyan.
During the visit, the BMO Bishnah informed that 6 MDR-TB patients and 119 Category-I TB patients are currently under treatment in the block.
The MD NHM also reviewed the functioning of key health programmes including RBSK, RCH, and Immunization.
He visited the OPD block, where he interacted with the Consultants and discussed various modalities for further improvement of healthcare services in the block.
He was accompanied by the Dr Harjeet Rai State Nodal Officer, NHM; Dr Harbaksh Singh CMO Jammu; Dr Jyoti Jolly STO Jammu; and Dr Anu Suloch DTO Jammu.
