Dy CM  highlights good governance initiatives of elected government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah

JAMMU, Dec 27: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today met scores of public representatives and individuals at the provincial headquarter at NC’s office Jammu, during a Public Darbar.

Several delegations raised issues related to civic amenities, development works, employment, and other public welfare matters. The Deputy Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the grievances and assured the delegations of prompt redressal, directing the concerned departments to take necessary action.

Speaking on the occasion, Provincial President Jammu Rattan Lal Gupta said, “The Public Darbar was organised to provide a direct and effective platform for people to convey their grievances to the Deputy Chief Minister. Such initiatives strengthen public trust and ensure that genuine issues are addressed in a time-bound manner.”

Deputy Chief Minister while interacting with the delegations, highlighted the good governance initiatives of the elected government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

He said that the elected government under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to transparency, accountability, and people-centric governance.  Every genuine public grievance will be addressed on priority to ensure inclusive development and effective delivery of services.

Among those who were present included: Babu Rampal former minister and Central Zone president, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad- Provincial secretary Jammu, Bimla Luthra former MLA, Vijay Lochan Chairman SC Cell, Tejinder Pal Singh Aman Provincial president YNC, Rakesh Singh, Mohinder Singh Vice presidents Central Zone, Tirth Ram District president Billawar (Org), Dilshad Malik vice president Central Zone, GH Malik xenior leader, Jatinder Kumar District president Jammu Rural-B, Kuldeep Sharma, Sahil Chib, Parbhat Kaphi, Ashanand and other party functionaries.
