JAMMU, Dec 17: The newly elected executive committee of Amar Singh Club, Jammu, today held a courtesy meeting with Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, who also serves as the vice president of the Club.
During the discussion, Vijay Saraf highlighted the smooth, transparent and impartial conduct of the recently concluded Club management committee elections, which were carried out under the supervision and guidance of the Divisional Commissioner.
He noted that the fair and efficient administrative process reinforced the democratic functioning of the institution.
The Divisional Commissioner, in his role as vice president of the Club, engaged directly with the newly elected members of the executive committee. He underscored the need for cohesive teamwork, transparent operations, and a commitment to upholding the rich traditions of Amar Singh Club, while emphasizing modernization and improved facilities for members.
Vijay Saraf, who emerged as the leading vote-getter in the elections, was recognized for securing broad support from the Club members.
He assured that the Executive Committee would collectively focus on enhancing governance, upgrading infrastructure, and promoting sports, cultural and social initiatives within the Club.
The delegation accompanying Saraf comprised Manish Gupta, Manmohan Singh, Nikita Bhandari, Rajesh Langer, Sahil Mahajan, Tania Kukreja and Viraaj Malhotra.
