Kishtwar, December 17, 2025 The Central Prabhari Officer for the Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP), Block Marwah, District Kishtwar, Dr. Ankita Chakravarty, IAS, visited Kishtwar today to review the developmental progress made under the programme.
The visit focused on assessing the implementation of key flagship schemes of the Government of India, with special emphasis on Aspirational Block Marwah.
During the visit, a detailed review meeting was held in the Meeting Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Kishtwar.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), apprised the Central Nodal Officer of the district’s progress against the 39 key indicators under the Aspirational Blocks Programme.
The meeting included a sector-wise review to evaluate performance and assess the impact of developmental interventions at the grassroots level. A comprehensive PowerPoint presentation was delivered by the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma(JKAS).
The presentation highlighted progress in key performance indicators, the status of flagship schemes, fund utilization, and inter-departmental convergence. It also showcased achievements in infrastructure development, service delivery, innovation, and technology-driven initiatives, while identifying key challenges and priority gaps requiring focused attention.
Dr. Ankita Chakravarty appreciated the district administration for adopting a data-driven and outcome-oriented approach. She emphasized the need for regular monitoring, effective convergence among departments, and active community participation to ensure inclusive and sustainable development in Aspirational Block Marwah.
She also encouraged the district team to proactively address identified gaps and continue efforts towards achieving measurable and lasting developmental outcomes.
