JAMMU, Dec 9: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr Rakesh Minhas, graced the kit distribution ceremony for J&K Softball athletes at MA Stadium, Jammu as the chief guest. Secretary J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul and Pushvinder Singh, Chairman Legal Commission, attended as special guest and guest of honour, respectively.
The event, organized by the J&K Sports Council, saw participation from office bearers of the Jammu & Kashmir Softball Association, coaches, technical staff and team managers. Nuzhat Gul highlighted the council’s efforts to promote sports, provide international-standard infrastructure and maintain transparency through DBT.
Dr Minhas lauded the athletes’ efforts and encouraged them to stay focused.
High-quality and colorful kits were distributed to athletes, coaches, managers and technical staff.
A high tea function followed the ceremony. The team will depart from Jammu on December 11 under the banner of the J&K Sports Council.
