Kolkata, Dec 06 : Goa cruised to a comfortable seven-wicket win over Jammu & Kashmir in their Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy Group B match on Saturday, powered by a superb unbeaten 51 off 28 balls from skipper Suyash Prabhudessai. Chasing 162, Goa finished at 167/3 in 19 overs, thanks to a solid foundation laid by Kashyap Bakhale, who smashed 59 off 44 deliveries, hitting eight fours and a six. Prabhudessai’s explosive knock ensured the chase remained firmly in Goa’s control. Earlier, J&K posted 161/6 with notable contributions from Yawer Hasan (48) and skipper Shubham Khajuria (45).
Abdul Samad lifted the innings with a blistering 22 off 9 balls, including two fours and two sixes.

For J&K, pacers Auqib Nabi and Sunil Kumar bowled identical spells of 1/31, but their efforts weren’t enough to stop Goa’s dominant chase.
In another match at the Jadavpur University Ground, Hyderabad defeated Bihar by seven wickets in a low-scoring encounter. Bihar struggled to 132/8 before Tanmay Agarwal’s unbeaten 67 off 42 balls guided Hyderabad to an easy win in just 12.5 overs.(KINS)
