Srinagar, Nov 5: A fire broke out on Wednesday evening at the Jio office, spreading to the Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch within the Metro International Complex, near Hattrick in Rajbagh, Srinagar.
Fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot following the incident.
Firefighting operations were underway, and the blaze has been largely brought under control.
J&K Bank issued Official statement , reads as “A minor fire incident occurred today at a building in Rajbagh, Srinagar, which houses the J&K Bank’s Air Cargo Branch and Cluster Office. The Bank confirmed that the fire was swiftly brought under control and caused no damage to its offices.
“We wish to reassure the public, our customers, and stakeholders that both the Branch and the Cluster Office are completely safe and fully secure. Although today was a holiday, banking operations will resume as normal tomorrow.
There is absolutely no cause for concern or panic,” a Bank spokesperson said.
Authorities responded promptly to the incident, ensuring the situation remained under control.”
