Pune, Nov 03: In a horrific accident, a large rock dropped dead on a moving car, smashed the sunroof and hit a woman, killing her on the spot in Tamhini Ghat, a mountain route in Maharashtra.
A serene family trip from Pune to Mangaon turned into a nightmare when a rock smashed through the sunroof of a car at Tamhini Ghat, resulting in the immediate death of a 43-year-old woman.
She was in the front passenger seat of a Volkswagen Virtus, while her husband was behind the wheel. Their son and mother-in-law were also present in the vehicle but fortunately escaped without injuries.
