Jammu, Nov 03 : There are countless questions on the working of Town Planning Officers of Jammu for causing harassment to Jammu people on various issues for clearing their Building Permissions.
Once upon a time UTEICH was removed in Srinagar but the same Chief Town Planner while working in Jammu, did not bother to act over the issue but process of forwarding BP cases to UTEIC in Jammu by treating it different from Kashmir.
It is also to mention here that Jammu Master Plan was notified on 17th March 2017 but Officers of Town Planning Organization & JDA slept over to notify Zonal Plans as stands ordered in J&K Development Act of 1970, by which same bye laws were adopted by JDA/JMC in small villages as were allowed in Cities ?
However, some "Proposed Roads" were reflected in Jammu Master Plan of 2032, in March 2017 but till day none of the such roads were neither notified by JDA nor taken up by any department but JDA allowed constructions in those proposed roads without Building Permissions.
However, one female applied for BP Case adjoining to those constructions but team of STPs rejected the BP case by quoting "Is in Proposed Road" & other illegal words, which stands nowhere in the said Master Plan, which were detected by then Pr Secretary H&UDD, Dheeraj Guptaz
It is to mention here that the application of the applicant for removing the word of "Proposed Roads" from her BP Case as application for the same stands submitted to VC JDA with due receipt from JDA dtd 14.02.2024 & wsaped to present STP of JDA & further countless applications for according "deemed sanction" of said BP case mailed to VC JDA with latest Email on 6th October, 2025 on are still pending in STP section of JDA for its results or any observations.
However, letter of CTP of TPO, for Master Plan of Kathua , now it has to be seen , how much time will be take here .
