Kathua, Oct 31: J&K Police Kathua have scored a significant victory in their relentless pursuit of justice, by attaching immovable and Movable property i:e *One Double storey Residential house & 01 Tractor Trolley, 01 Mahindra Pick Up total value (86 lakhs)* of *Notorious Drug Peddler namely Mohd Aslam S/o Teg Ali R/o Marheen Rajbagh & his close relatives.* "Following a thorough financial investigation, the attached properties were submitted to SAFEMA for confirmation under the NDPS Act, which has now been duly confirmed.
The above said drug peddler is arrested in the following case FIR No.s:-
1. FIR No. 99/2024 U/S 8/21/22/27(a) NDPS. Act PS Vijaypur.
2. FIR No. 173/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act PS Vijaypur.
3. FIR No. 73/2023 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act.
The said drug peddler is engaged in Inter State Narcotics Nexus and is presently in Judicial custody. This attachment serves as a welcome deterrent to criminals.It has been proven that the drug peddler had amassed huge property disproportionate to his known sources of income
A Police team of PS Rajbagh led by SHO Rajbagh Insp Ajay Singh Chib under supervision of *SP Ops Kathua Sh. Mukund Tibrewal-IPS* and SDPO Border Sh. Dheeraj Katoch overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* is committed to zero tolerance to drug peddling .
This decisive action sends a strong message to Drug Peddlers that the law will not tolerate their nefarious activities.
