Jammu, Oct 27: Today Justice Mohd. Yusuf Wani heard the application filed by the detenue, seeking permission to participate in the ongoing assembly session of J&K.
When the above-mentioned application, was taken up for hearing, Sr. Advocate Rahul Pant with Advocates S.S. Ahmed, Appu Singh Slathia and M. Zulkarnain Chowdhary submitted that they have filed an application seeking permission for the detenue to participate in the ongoing assembly session of J&K.
Furthermore, elaborate contentions were submitted by the counsels for the detenue. It was also emphatically put forth that the application is required to be considered today itself, due to the urgency involved in the matter.
Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi with Senior AAG Monika Kohli appeared for the government of J&K and apprised the esteemed Court that they have filed the reply to the application and also made their submissions.
It is pivotal to mention that the Hon'ble Court after considering the submissions made by both the parties, adjourned the matter till the 30th of October 2025, for consideration of the application seeking participation in the ongoing assembly session.
Moreover, the main matter is listed on the 7th of November 2025.
