Delhi Encounter: IPS Officer earlier posted in J&K leads Team; 4 Most Wanted Gangsters killed



NEW DELHI, Oct 24: IPS Officer , Sanjeev Yadav , who was earlier posted in Jammu and Kashmir led Team in Delhi Encounter in which 4 most Wanted Gangsters killed.

Ranjan Pathak, Bimlesh Mahto, Manish Pathak and Aman Thakur were headed by one of Bihar’s most wanted, Ranjan Pathak, and were the members of Sigma and Company gang.

According to Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Surender Kumar, following a tip-off, joint teams of the Delhi Police Crime Branch, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjeev Yadav, and the Bihar Police, laid a trap from Dr Ambedkar Chowk to Pansali Chowk in Rohini at 2.20 am.

On seeing the police personnel, the accused, ran in different directions and fired on Police Team.

In retaliation, the police teams also opened fire in which all four accused received bullet injuries and accused were taken to the nearby Ambedkar Hospital where doctors declared them dead on arrival.

This is being termed as big achievement and Sanjeev Yadav is being appreciated.

Sanjeev Yadav , who is famous , for Batla House encounter , on which even Bollywood movie has been made , and his role was portrayed by Akshay Kumar , was recently transferred to Delhi segment of AGMUT from J&K.

During his three years stint in Jammu and Kashmir , Yadav was never posted on significant posts.
