SRINAGAR, Oct 09: National Conference MLA Tanvir Sadiq has submitted J&K Land Grants (Restoration & protection ) Bill.
Sadiq said " Although we’re generally not supposed to speak on bills or resolutions, since it’s already in the public domain. I want the people to know that I had submitted a Private Member’s Bill. The J&K Land Grants (Restoration & protection ) Bill to undo the 2022 changes, protect local leaseholders, public institutions, and restore the original 1960 framework. This isn’t for photo ops; it’s about reclaiming what was ours. I urge the OmarAbdullah Sb’s government to consider it and request all the Hon MLA’s to support it."
