Mega Health Camp held at DH Samba


SAMBA, Sep 18: Under the Directions of Worthy DHS JAMMU and Chief Medical Officer Samba Dr Vidhi Bhatiyal a Mega Multi-Speciality camp under Seva parv 2025 SNSP Abhiyaan (Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar), organized at District Hospital Samba.

The camp was inaugurated by Honble MLA Samba Sh Surjeet Singh Salathia ,in presence of Worthy Member Distt Development Counsil Samba Sh Subhash Bhagat, Chief Medical Officer Samba Dr Vidhi Bhatiyal, Medical Superintendent DH Samba.

The camp was organised by Medical Superintendent DH Samba Dr Mohinder Kumar.

The initiative placed special focus on the health and well-being of women, antenatal mothers, adolescent girls, Female children, and elderly females.

A comprehensive range of preventive, promotive, and curative services was provided, including: Antenatal Care (ANC) check-ups & Maternal & Child Health (MCH) services Family planning & immunization services Screening for NCDs (Hypertension & Diabetes) TB Screening especially in females Cancer screening Specialist consultations Gynaecologist, Physician, ENT, Eye, Dental, AYUSH Mental health, TB & NVBDCP-related services MCH and Counselling Services ABHA Card Enrollment, Vaya Vandana Card Enrollment Services were also provided Awareness sessions on water-borne and communicable diseases, nutrition & IEC activities Diagnostic services, drug distribution & general health consultations.

A Blood donation Camp was also held on the occasion And Nutritional kits among female TB Pts under Nikshay Poshan Yojna also distributed by Honble MLA Samba in the presence of DDC Samba ,Chief Medical Officer Samba, Medical Superintendent DH Samba and other Dignitaries.

On the occasion, MLA Samba underlined the importance of Seva Parv 2025, describing it as “a celebration of Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar—aimed at empowering women and strengthening families through health and awareness.” The programmes concluded with enthusiastic participation from the community and stakeholders, showcasing the positive impact and wide outreach of Seva Parv 2025 across Samba District
