Srinagar, Sep 7: In O.A./1019/2025 (SRINAGAR) titled NASEEMA Vs FINANCE DEPARTMENT after hearing CAT ordered as under:-
1. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant was granted the family pension after the death of her husband namely Abdul Majid, who died on 04.04.2014.
The applicant was drawing the said pension regularly. However, for the last eight months the respondents stopped the family pension and freezed her Pension Account.
2. Issue notice. Mr. Satinder Singh, AAG, appears vice Mr. Ganaie, Dy. AG and accepts notice.
He seeks and is granted six weeks time to file reply.
3. In the meantime, the respondents are directed to defreez the Pension Account of the applicant and release the pension of the applicant in future. The recovery is also stayed till next date of hering.
4. List the matter on 27.10.2025.
