JAMMU, Aug 22: Jodhamal Public School, Jammu, celebrated its annual Investiture Ceremony with dignity and grandeur, officially inducting the Student Council for the academic year 2025–26.
The event was graced by the distinguished Chief Guest, Dr. Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, Special Guests Ansuya Jamwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Arun Kumar Manhas, Director Industries & Commerce, Jammu and Anmol Rathod, who added to the event’s prestige and witnessed by proud parents and well-wishers who shared the joy of this significant milestone.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the sacred lamp, accompanied by the resonant chants of the Gayatri Mantra setting an inspiring tone.
The highlight of the event was the piping ceremony. During the ceremony, the newly elected Prefects ascended the stage with pride and determination.
The sight of young leaders carrying the school and house flags were particularly inspiring, embodying both grace and resolve. The oath of office was administered by Principal Dr. Deep Khare, who exhorted the student leaders to embrace leadership.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, Dr. Rakesh Minhas shared valuable insights on leadership, integrity, and the importance of making sound choices. A question and answer session with the Chief Guest followed, during which Dr. Minhas shared his valuable insights.

The Head Boy and Head Girl delivered inspiring speeches, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the school for its trust and pledging to uphold the values and responsibilities bestowed upon them.
A heartfelt vote of thanks was proposed by Vice Principal Amita Arora, who lauded the students for stepping into leadership with courage and enthusiasm, while expressing gratitude to the dignitaries for their presence and support.
Pooja Sharma, the Senior wing CCA Coordinator was the master of ceremony. The Investiture Ceremony concluded with pride, hope, and renewed commitment, as Jodhamal Public School once again entrusted its students with the mantle of leadership—empowering them to lead with courage, discipline, and vision.
