New Delhi, August 19:The INDIA alliance on Tuesday announced former Supreme Court Judge B. Sudershan Reddy as its joint candidate for the upcoming Vice Presidential elections.
Making the announcement, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “This vice-presidential contest is an ideological battle, and all the opposition parties agreed on this. This is the reason we have nominated B. Sudershan Reddy as the joint candidate.”
The election for the Vice President of India is scheduled to be held later this month.
